Our benefits include:

MEDICAL

Ormat provides a generous Medical plan with access to a preferred providers organization (PPO). The plan provides coverage for physician services as well as preventative care and unique services such as homeopathy and acupuncture.

DENTAL

Ormat provides a comprehensive dental plan with access to a PPO Network through Diversified Dental or the ability to use non-provider network dentists. The plan covers preventative, basic, major and orthodontia care.

VISION

Ormat provides a generous vision plan with no network allowing you to use the provider of your choice. The plan covers 100% of expenses including exams and vision products up to the annual maximum.

RETIREMENT

All employees are eligible to participate in Ormat’s 401(k) plan and receive an employer contribution match of 100% of employee contributions up to 6% after completing 2 months of service. The 401(k) plan allows for rollovers, catch-up contributions and hardship loans.

DISABILITY INSURANCE

Ormat provides Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance to full-time employees at no cost. This insurance is designed to stabilize your income in the event that you are disabled due to a non-work related injury or illness.

LIFE INSURANCE

Ormat provides Life Insurance coverage of three times your annual base salary along with accidental death and dismemberment coverage for employees. This program is provided to full-time employees at no cost.

WELLNESS PROGRAMS

Healthy and happy employees are the key to a successful company. Ormat’s wellness program is designed to improve the overall well-being, the physical and mental health of our employees. This program is available to employees at no cost.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Professional counselors available 24/7 to assist you with a variety of issues such as counseling on personal issues, financial resources and legal information. This program is available to full-time employees and their dependents at no cost.

PAID TIME OFF

Paid vacation and sick time is available to full-time and part-time employees and is accrued based on hours worked. Employees are able to request time off as soon as they accrue. Ormat also observes ten US paid holidays per calendar year allowing full-time and part-time employees time away for the holidays to spend with family and friends.
