The primary responsibility of a Plant Operator is to ensure that the operation of the power plant is safely and efficiently carried out in accordance with Plant Safety Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. Additional duties include; monitoring plant systems and equipment on a continuous basis, and responding to alarms and out of specification parameters by taking appropriate corrective action.

Responsible for the preventive maintenance on all engines and rig equipment. Assists mechanics on engines repair and maintains inventory of hand tools, spare parts and engines equipment. Act as the floor lead.

Responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operations of the rig and carrying out a variety of physical activities on the drilling rig floor.

This position is responsible for conducting Reservoir Engineering studies to support world-class exploration, development and operations of geothermal resources globally. An individual in this role will work in a world-class collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsible for all work in the mast above the drilling floor and for mud drilling circulation and equipment maintenance.

This position is responsible for operating the controls of the rig, acting as the rig lead, and reports to Rig Supervisor.

This position is responsible for providing technical services in the area of process controls and instrumentation for Ormat’s operating facilities including specification, installation, configuration and maintenance of process control system elements.

This position is responsible for all aspects of engineering construction procurement projects. The incumbent is responsible for managing all inhouse and external engineering, procurement, installation and testing through turnover to aftersales/Operations. They will ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

This position is responsible for general operations and maintenance support in order to maintain high plant availability including condition monitoring and optimization, development and implementation of best practices for predictive and preventative maintenance, development of maintenance management system, develop and maintain critical spares program, and remote monitoring of asset health. This position will be based at one of several California plant locations which will be supported.
