We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Engineering Intern to join our projects team focused on building utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various phases of our BESS projects, working closely with experienced engineers and project managers. This position is responsible for assisting in geologic evaluations of geothermal systems to support world-class exploration, development, and operations of geothermal resources globally. An individual in this role will work in a world-class collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.

This position is responsible for assisting in purchasing, maintaining inventory control, shipping, receiving and labeling of materials in accordance with applicable permits, laws, rules and regulations.

This position is responsible for general engineering support including development of plant operation and maintenance procedures, ongoing plant troubleshooting, develop and participate in plant schedule and preventive maintenance, plant safety, plant inventory, plant efficiency, performance monitoring and improvements, development and implementation of various field projects, revenue improvement and cost reduction.

This position is responsible for monitoring the performance of geothermal production and injection wells, performing reservoir engineering analysis on operating and developing geothermal fields, monitoring and analyzing production well pump performance, and designing and supervising well tests and logs.

This position is responsible for conducting Reservoir Engineering studies to support world-class exploration, development and operations of geothermal resources globally. An individual in this role will work in a world-class collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and performance of administrative personnel while ensuring the most efficient methods are utilized and executed. The Admin Supervisor will work in conjunction with the Admin Manager on monitoring progress, providing guidance, and addressing immediate issues that arise. Admin personnel may include staff from Resource/Drilling, Plant Ops and/or Corp Admin.

Assist in acquisition, QA/QC, processing, modeling, interpretation, and management of geophysical data as directed by Staff Geophysicist, Project Managers, or the Exploration/Development Manager. Receive training on field work best practices and data acquisition techniques with the goal of leading geophysical surveys at geothermal exploration and development projects in Nevada.

The Asset Manager performs a wide variety of tasks related to the planning, developing and reporting of Ormat’s revenues and expenses.
