- The ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the areas of assignment as would be acquired in three to four years of high school with professional training and/or college courses in related fields

- Three (3) years of experience in the power production or similar process industries with hands-on experience in operations, maintenance and project implementation, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc PLC experience preferred
|
- Experience in installation and calibration of process control elements and electrical measurement devices
|
- The ability to read and create process control documentation
|
- Experience with similar industry SCADA systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems
|
- This position requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative and the ability to work with minimal or no supervision
|
- The ability to drive decisions and initiatives and to deal effectively with a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty
|
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a problem-solving environment
|
- Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and use of the Internet
|
- Must have a high degree of initiative, ability to work with minimal or no supervision and a high level of confidentiality
|
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
|
- Must be able to respond calmly and think clearly in emergency situations
|
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English at a level that will permit the employee to understand and communicate information in a manner that will enable the employee to safely and efficiently perform the job duties

- Must possess at any time a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to ORMAT’s auto insurance carrier
